At the NJ Shore:
We are less than an hour from the beach (which everyone here calls "the shore"). While there are numerous towns at the shore, not all of them have boardwalks with entertainment. If you're interested in visiting, a few good ones are:
- Ocean City, NJ: Family-friendly beach town with fun amusements and lots of places to eat right on the boardwalk - we go there often
- Atlantic City, NJ: Many casinos, the boardwalk, and outlet shops
- Barnegat Lighthouse: You can climb up the lighthouse, and enjoy the beach
- Cape May Whale (& Dolphin) Watching Tours: Yes, we have dolphins & whales here!
